I was worried about what my life in the U.S. would be like before I came here. I thought to myself, “What can I do in the U.S.? Am I ready to have an internship in America?” I didn’t have any previous work experience, and living in the U.S. was hard at first. I eventually got used to it, thanks to my friends and colleagues at work. Thank you
I really worried about this program at first. Many people worried about my life in LA whether I can do well or be healthy or not but I did well. I worked at Korean American Service Center as a design intern. Fortunately, I can work as a designer thanks to my design skill even though my major is not for design. The reason that I came to the US is that if not now, when can I experience working in the US? I was struggling so much in the US but it was worth it
I’d like to tell you about my internship experience and what I learned from it. My job as an intern was to assist my boss by attending business meetings, organizing files, and doing database research. I was able to see how the Minority Business Development Agency functions, and what the business field looks like in America. I was able to not only develop my English skills while working here, but I also learned how to work well with others while also building meaningful relationships. This was my first time working as an intern. I was able to improve and learn a lot during my time here. Thank you

I had an internship at a marketing agency that worked for customers like BMW and some online shopping sites. I worked as a member in their production team. I was nervous when I first started working, as there were no other Korean people at the company. I also struggled with understanding the people at my work, even though I thought my English skills were very good. But I eventually worked through it and learned to work well as an intern. I don’t think I would’ve been able to finish this internship without the support of people around me. This internship was a good experience for me, as I learned how to become more confident
Before I came to the U.S. for this internship program, I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life. I was exhausted both mentally and physically. I knew that I wanted to be something, but I wasn’t sure what it was that I wanted to be. Then I decided to pursue an internship in the U.S. It was my first internship experience, and it was not easy. At first, I had a difficult time speaking in English and working as an intern, but over time I got used to the work. I had a lot of responsibilities and developed a lot during my time as an intern, and I was able to dream even bigger than before. I have a lot of good memories from working in the U.S. thanks to my internship
I study business in Korea. During my 6 week internship, I met various people in LA, and learned about the differences in American and Korean work environments. I really enjoyed my job, and I was given the opportunity to work in the Korean branch of this company after I graduate. This experience will help me go further than I’ve ever been able to before
Before I found this program, I decided I wanted to expand my knowledge. That’s why I decided to come to the U.S. for my internship. My work involved communicating with models and influencers through Instagram via email and phone calls. My friends helped me a lot during this time. I really appreciated it. This was a valuable experience in my life
My internship was with Koogle TV, which specializes in media marketing. In my opinion, the greatest asset they have is the people who work there. The environment was very dynamic, and everyone has different strengths to bring to the table. Even though my major is not associated with marketing, I learned a lot during my time there. I was very surprised by the working culture in the U.S. They respect each other regardless of their titles, genders, or age, and they’re so passionate about their jobs. They didn’t have strict politics about their work hierarchy, so all I had to focus on was being creative. Thank you for this amazing experience
I worked as an intern at an advertisement company. This was thanks to Stanley Prep giving me the opportunity to work in the U.S. My colleagues at work welcomed me and taught me so much. I learned a lot about the differences in American and Korean cultures, and I was able to become a more considerate person. I met a great variety of people with different thoughts and opinions, which helped me realize that my way of thinking is not the only one that is correct. I was able to make a lot of friends in L.A. and I had a pleasant time thanks to Stanley Prep
