How to Apply

Non-U.S. citizen

Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program under F-1 visa and eligible for OPT

Minimum of 3.0 overall college GPA

Complete Your Application
- Submit the online application form and pay the application fee upon submission.

Fulfill U.S. Government Requirements
- Notify your designated school official (DSO) of your intent to apply for OPT. Your DSO will confirm your eligibility, update your Form I-20, and submit your request to USCIS.
- File Form I-765 (Application for Employment Authorization) with USCIS.
- Receive Form I-797 (Notice of Receipt) as confirmation.
- Await USCIS approval and issuance of your Employment Authorization Document (EAD).

Preliminary Interview
- Participate in a preliminary interview with a Stanley Prep associate to confirm program eligibility. Feedback will be provided to enhance your application and highlight your strengths.

Acceptance and Payment
- Upon program acceptance, you’ll receive a welcome packet and an invoice for the first installment. Submit the payment to proceed.

Matching Process Initiated
- Once your payment is received, Stanley Prep begins the matching process.

Profile Review by Host Organizations
- Host organizations will review your profile and resume to determine alignment with their requirements.
- If shortlisted, Stanley Prep will arrange an interview between you and the host organization.

Interviews and Matchmaking
- If the first interview is unsuccessful, Stanley Prep will arrange a second matching opportunity with another host organization.
- If the second attempt also fails, Stanley Prep will directly assign you to a suitable host organization to ensure your placement.

Offer and Placement
- Successful interviews lead to an offer from a company that aligns with your career goals.

Participants are required to have insurance through Stanley Prep. We offer three options for individual health insurance: Standard Lite for $60/month, Enhanced for $100/month, and Family Lite for $120/month. Accompanying family members on an F-2 may select either Standard Lite for $60/month or Family Lite for $120/month.
