The World Federation of United Nations Association (WFUNA) connects the UN member countries with their citizens through education and training to promote global citizenship. WFUNA is a global non-profit organization that aims to promote student engagement in international relations.
The United Nations Online (UNO) program and the United Nations Advanced Training (UNAT) program differ significantly in format, accessibility, duration, and structure. UNO is conducted entirely online, allowing students from all over the world to participate and access exclusive program content. In contrast, UNAT is an in-person program held in New York, where students are hosted at the United Nations headquarters. Another key difference is the duration and structure of the programs. UNO spans 10 weeks throughout the semester, offering a comprehensive and extended engagement with United Nations topics and activities. On the other hand, UNAT is a 7-day intensive program that provides a concentrated experience, immersing students in United Nations activities over the course of one week.
Admissions offices in the U.S. review Letters of Recommendation to gain insight into a student’s leadership potential and contribution made to the community. Within 1 week of the completion of UNAT course, WFUNA will mail out the Recommendation Letter to each students that will portray your leadership and intellectual potential. If you would like the Letters of Recommendation to be submitted directly to each university according to submission protocols, please contact Stanley Prep as soon as your university application is submitted.
