Submit Your Online Application & Application Fee

  • Complete the online application form and pay the non-refundable application fee.
  • Upload the following required documents in the application form:
    1. Transcript of records
    2. SAT or ACT scores (for high school students)

*Within two days after submitting the online application, you will receive an email with a link to upload additional required documents.

Submit Required Documents & Video Response

  • Use the form linked in the follow-up email to upload the following:
    1. Resume
    2. Cover letter
    3. Government-issued ID
    4. Video response (answering one of the following questions):
        • Why do you want to participate in the UNAT program? How does this experience align with your future goals?
        • What do you believe is the most pressing issue in international affairs today? How should global leaders address this challenge?
        • What do you think is the role of the United Nations in solving global problems today? Do you believe it is functioning effectively? If you were the UN Secretary-General, what changes would you implement?

 

  • Video Submission Guidelines:
    1. Length: 3–5 minutes
    2. Language: English
    3. Format: Creative expression is encouraged (presentation, interview-style, storytelling, etc.)
    4. Content: Provide concrete insights and examples instead of just listing achievements
    5. Technical Requirements: Record in a quiet space with clear audio and good lighting

*All required documents and your video must be submitted within one week of receiving the form.

Application Review

  • Stanley Prep evaluates your complete application and issues an acceptance decision within approximately two weeks.
  • A Stanley Prep staff member may reach out with additional questions if needed.

Receive Your Acceptance Package

  • If accepted, you will receive an acceptance letter, a program agreement, and a program fee invoice via email.
  • If you do not receive these within two weeks after submitting your video, please contact us for assistance.

Submit Signed Documents & Program Fee

    • Accomplish the following via the instructions in your acceptance email:
      1. Program agreement
      2. Consent & waiver forms
      3. Proof of program fee payment (wire transfer receipt; A service fee applies for credit card payments.)

 

  • After completing this step, you will receive an email confirming your slot for the Summer 2025 cohort.

Prepare for the Program

  • Arrange transportation to New York.
  • Secure health or travel insurance.
  • Bring a laptop computer and other necessary items.
  • If you are a non-U.S. participant, confirm your visa requirements for entry into the U.S.
